Excel Weatherized
The Excel Weatherized has been designed with protection from the elements, making it ideal for truck bed installation. It is UV resistant, has been powder coated and includes rugged covers on all electronics and moving components. The entire lift is sealed and shielded, so you never need to be concerned about exposure.
Outback
The Outback is just what its name implies: A sturdy exterior scooter lift. The Outback offers a variety of features to accommodate nearly any vehicle style.
One look at the Outback's durable anti-slip platform surface and all-steel, weather tight construction and you know it is a member of the VMI family. This tried and true lift solution offers all the convenience and quality of our Excel for those who prefer an exterior mounted scooter lift. The Outback offers the versatility of a 3 or 4-wheel scooter arrangement. Automatic dual hold-down arms and a "stabilizing pin" reduce rattles and sway to provide worry-free driving.
Outback ST
The Outback ST's self-tensioning (ST) tie-down system (shown to the left) incorporates a padded strap with an easy to use seatbelt buckle to safely hold your power chair in place.
This innovative addition to the VMI family is sure to please you. The Outback ST's self-tensioning tie-down system, automatic stowing mechanism, and 300lb lifting capacity make transporting your mid-wheel drive power chair a breeze. Operation is easy with its large magnetic switches. VMI utilizes two stabilizing pins to prevent rattle and sway when driving. There is no other self-tensioning tie-down system that is so reliable and so secure.
