AirTouch Extreme- Advanced Light Touch-Low Travel power control for gas and brake.
Operational as a stand-alone or can combine with a variety of vehicle controls and systems. This versatile control features an inclusive backup brake system designed specifically for this application.
Why AirTouch? (from the General Manager of CCI)
AirTouch Creative Controls, Inc.'s (CCI) revolutionary new hand control is ideal for drivers who are looking for ease in operating a vehicle's gas and brake controls.

Creative Controls, Inc. is very proud to announce that we have put the finishing touches on our re-designed AirTouch Extreme Gas and Brake Control system. When we decided to go back to the drawing board and re-design the system, we had many meetings and discussions with people in the industry telling us what they wanted or needed from a product such as this.
On the end user or client side, we took a hard look at what the person who had to live with this product and depend on it on a day-to-day basis needed. "We need to do it right from the beginning," said Tom Stowers, owner of Creative Controls, Inc. DBA Creative Controls Handicapped Driving Equipment. So the handle was re-designed to give a better feel for the client.
The other consideration was the variable skill level and abilities of the client. We decided to address this issue with re-designing our on board computer processor. The system now employs two processors to not only ensure a robust system but also enabled us to offer much more in terms of a very agile system. We are now controlling the secondary functions through our on board computer. No more clumsy boxes and pendants cluttering up the driver space. Just a very elegant LCD display and one elbow button.
On the Driver Trainer side we looked at the challenges of the Driver Trainers. There needed to be a system with flexibility to fit the ever changing needs of their clients. There are so many different abilities and skill levels that the Driver Trainers have to encounter on a day-to-day basis, so we took a hard look at what they needed from a system such as AirTouch. One of the considerations was the ability to alter the response of the gas and brake control system easily and quickly. It also needed to be user friendly. What we came up with is a computer control processor, which has a unique communication capability. With our new system we can now offer a variety of programs to adjust to each client's needs.
This can be accomplished in different ways. We now have the ability to download to the Evaluation Vehicle from either a laptop or desktop computer, or the Internet. Yes the system now has an IP address that can be utilized by the Drivers Trainers to dramatically change the level of service they offer. Imagine having a client session at 9 A.M. with a particular set of capabilities and another client at 2 P.M. with a totally different set of needs. You now have the ability to adapt to the clients needs quickly and efficiently. Or on the other hand, imagine sitting in your office and having the capability to change your Evaluation Vehicle's response from your desk! Now you can with the new AirTouch Extreme.

Features of AirTouch
- AirTouch incorporates position feedback to allow the user great control and smooth operation.
- AirTouch features low-effort and low-travel design.
- AirTouch uses an onboard compressor specifically designed for use with remote control of gas and brake in automotive applications. With normal use, the compressor will last three times as long as a typical vehicle.
- AirTouch will impact the industry with its slim, lightweight frame. The unit measures nine inches in length, five inches in height and an amazingly slim, one inch thickness. This product will help revolutionize the mobility industry.

The Society of Automotive Engineer (SAE) recommendations were an important factor in its design to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality.
Installation
- AirTouch can be installed in almost any vehicle because space requirements are minimal.
- Installation is easy, seamless and quick on most foreign or domestic vehicles. Quick turn-around time includes mounting the servo motors, the power pack, the back-up brake and the control handle.
