The Automated Transport and Retrieval System (ATRS) is a revolutionary new concept being introduced to the mobility market. ATRS is designed to provide those with limited mobility an independent means of transportation without significantly modifying a motor vehicle.
ATRS integrates cutting-edge robotics technology with existing mobility products into a cost-effective solution for true independent transportation mobility. The system includes a platform lift and dock, an articulating automotive seat, and the robotics and automation package which allows for remote manual and computer assisted control of a power wheelchair.
ATRS makes it possible for a limited mobility individual to safely transport their mobility aid into and out of a motor vehicle of their choice without the assistance of a caregiver.
The system includes a Tracker platform lift with our Dock 'N' Lock system, a Freedom Seat, and our cutting - edge robotics and automation package which allows for remote manual and computer assisted control of the power wheelchair. ATRS enables a wheelchair user to transfer from the wheelchair to the Freedom Seat and then remotely direct the wheelchair to autonomously dock on the platform lift located at the rear of the vehicle. When the user would like to exit the vehicle, the user can retrieve the power wheel chair remotely to transfer from the Freedom Seat to their wheelchair. ATRS can be used for either a driver or passenger who uses a power wheelchair.
